Based in Vienna Austria, HADRA is a musical ensemble inspired by ancient traditions that flourished during the Golden Age of Al-Andalus ‒ when music and sound was used to create harmony and balance on both personal and collective levels.

People who come to a Hadra Ensemble experience are rarely seeking music alone.

They come in search of:

• emotional calm and inner balance;

• a space of silence beyond the constant activity of the mind;

• a deeper connection with themselves;

• an meaningful experience;

• a quality of presence;

• a sense of connection with one another;

• inner nourishment

• and, for some, an opening to a deeper spiritual dimension.

Rather than offering a concert, we invite you into an immersive listening experience, one where music becomes a doorway to presence, contemplation, inner stillness, and an opening for the healing of the heart.

What to expect?

Performed live, HADRA creates spaces of sanctuary much needed in these busy and challenging times.  Our musical sessions take place in a beautiful atmosphere with small, intentional groups.  You may sit or lie down so you can relax fully and let the beauty of sound carry you inward, away from worldly distractions and the stress and demands of life and work. 

HADRA’s intentional soundscapes invite us to attune to our deepest nature and touch the source of sacred inspiration and creativity that is always flowing in our being.

After the music we invite time for sharing and reflection, to help integrate the experience within supportive community.  In this way we can witness and be witnessed, planting seeds for both personal and collective growth and harmony.

Each session is an opportunity to re-enter our life feeling more centered, more connected, more authentic, and more clear in what we are here to offer.
